During the festive period, Southfields children have been learning many songs for their Christingles! 

Key Stage 1 had their Christingle at School on Tuesday 12th December with Rev. Andrew in attendance. He said that 'the singing was the best he has heard.'

Key Stage 2 walked over to St John the Baptist Church on Wednesday for their Christingle service. After squeezing into the church, they sang traditional carols and had readings telling the Christmas story.

Year 2 also walked to the church and took part in their very catchy Christingle with their parents. Rev. Andrew declared that Born in a Barn is one of his favourite songs. Parents were allowed to stay for a mince pie and hot chocolate before the children walked back to school.
